This 10-hour General Industry training is intended to provide instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health standards. This program is presented by an authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer and will provide you with the elements for developing a comprehensive safety and health program for your organization. OSHA established required course topics. These topics are designed to present detailed information on how the provisions of the OSHA Act must be implemented in the workplace. The program will help your company reduce costly accidents, and the risk of OSHA citations, fines and penalties. Course topics include: Overview of the OSHA General Duty Clause, Inspections, Citations and Subpart D: Walking and Working Surfaces; Subpart E & L: Means of Egress and Fire Protection; Subpart S: Electrical; Subpart H: Hazardous Materials; Subpart I: Personal Protective Equipment; Subpart O: Machine Guarding; Subpart J: Lockout Tagout; Subpart J: Permit Required Confined Space; and Subpart Q: Welding, Cutting, and Brazing. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an official OSHA course completion card

This course provides individuals with 35 contact hours of training required by the Project Management Institute (PMI)before taking the PMP exam.  The course is taught by a PMI authorized training provider and is conducted live through ZOOM.  Individuals will be provided with textbooks, study material, practice exam questions and more.    

De-Escalation in Practice: Using Assertive Language and Presence to Promote Calm

In emotionally charged situations, how we show up matters just as much as what we say. This interactive workshop focuses on the practical side of de-escalation by strengthening your emotional intelligence, refining your language choices, and using non-verbal presence to promote calm. Through discussion, structured practice, and guided reflection, you’ll gain tools to respond with clarity and cofidence when tension runs high.

New Supervisor Training  focuses on the skills needed by emerging, new, or recently appointed team leaders or first line supervisors. The program is ideal for employees who are new to planning, coordinating, and directing the work of others. This comprehensive 4-day program is a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, group exercises, and tools for future success. Participants will have a pre-class assignment before each session and will receive a one hour 1-on-1 coaching session with the instructor after completing the program.
